Agree! I helped TP grade some healthy pappers including division to find target heart rate or something and wanted to know what these crazy boxes were on the side of some of hte kids papeprs...new division apparently.
I don't always do division on paper, but when I do, I use Excel. That really doesn't make any sense, but then again, I'm pretty sure I've mostly forgotten the 'original' ways of doing division and multiplication anyway. Curse you technology.
What, you're not going to share the new methods? I want my mind to be blown, too!
